The Padani Legacy

The Padani Company was founded by a family of highly respected Belgian diamond merchants . Padani was established in 1897 by Joseph Reicher, a prominent member of the Belgian diamond exchange. His daughter Malvin married a young jeweller, Henri (uri) Padani, and together they built up a reputation in the jewellery trade for the high quality of their merchandize. At the end of World War II, the Padani family moved to Israel. In spite of the difficult economic conditions in the new country, and against all odds, Uri Padani, fulfilled his vision and founded the first jewellery design studio in Tel-Aviv, in 1947. Setting up a pioneering business with the highest European standards, required a great deal of courage and willingness to take risks. With his top quality craftsmanship and expertise, Uri Padani soon became the jeweller of the rich and famous, both residents and tourists In 1970, his son Beni exchanged his career as an Israeli Air Force fighter pilot, for a place in the flourishing family business, taking on the challenge of continuing the family tradition - delighting Padani clients with one-of-a-kind works of art

Thanks to his business acumen and technical know-how, Beni Padani succeeded in enlarging the company and transforming it into a chain of glittering galleries, supported by state of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

Padani has maintained its uncompromising quality of craftsmanship over many decades, and has achieved recognition by world leaders in this field. Since 1972, Padani has been granted sole representation in Israel by prestigious jewellery companies, such as:
